Three weddings and a masterclass for Rosanna
Spare a thought for Rosanna Davison. It’s been all go, all summer, for Chris de Burgh’s daughter. So much so, that she is, doubtless, already counting down the days to her and Wesley’s annual New Year hols in Mauritius.
Rosanna returned last week from a holiday in Ibiza with Wes. It was a trip down memory lane for the couple as they stayed in the same hotel — Atzaro — where they got married in June 2014.
She is gearing up to do a foodie demo from her book Eat Yourself Fit on September 1 at the Electric Picnic in Stradbally, Co Laois. Last month, she was also in Co Laois, for her cousin’s wedding in Ballintubbert House. “It was a stunning venue and a festival-themed wedding on one of the hottest days of the summer,” explained the former Miss World who, tragically, hasn’t had a moment to herself all summer.
Poor Rosanna has plans to go to three weddings next year — in April, May and June. In the meantime, she is currently writing a dissertation on the role of fructose in obesity.
The reason — not that there needs to be a reason — is that Rosanna is completing a full-time master’s degree in nutrition at Middlesex University, where perhaps the Irish beauty, and dashing husband Wes, might put the sex in Middlesex. Worry ye not, she hasn’t moved lock, stock and Wes to south-east England. “It is,” she told me, “all online”.
