My hometown of Greystones, Co Wicklow,

is the best place for a weekend staycation. It’s a beautiful seaside town with an amazing community, and it’s my favourite place on Earth.

On Friday night, I usually like to cook at home,

but if I was going out for dinner, I would either go to Chakra, The Three Qs or Daata. They are my favourite restaurants in Greystones, and they all do good food.

On Saturday morning, I would go to the beach at sunrise,

with my twin, Stephen, for a swim in the sea. There’s always a great gang there, and it’s the perfect energising start to the day.

I would have breakfast back at our Happy Pear cafe.

I love our freshly baked vegan scones, and you can’t beat a bowl of porridge. We give it out free in our cafes.

The cliff walk, a 7km trail along the coast from Greystones to Bray,

is one of my favourite things to do at the weekend. It is a beautiful walk, with great views out over the sea.

On Saturday night, I love to take it easy,

so I’d read a book in the bath. Most of my life is spent around people, so it’s nice to have time to myself.

On Sunday morning, I am usually back in our cafe for breakfast.

Then I’d take my two daughters to the pool in Shoreline Leisure Centre, then go back home to do some yoga to round off a great weekend.
