Woman charged over Foxrock knife death

A woman in her 40s was last night charged by gardaí investigating the death of a man in Foxrock, Co Dublin, on Thursday.

She is due to appear before a special sitting of Dublin District Court today. The man, in his 20s, was stabbed several times and left with wounds amounting to a mutilation.

A post mortem was carried out on the deceased but gardai are not releasing its details at this stage of the investigation. The woman was arrested on Friday and held for questioning before she was charged last night in connection with the man’s death.
