Wine dining in 2019

The enchanting O’Brien’s pub, pictured left — which was briefly Barca and The Chop House — in the heritage village of Lismore, Co Waterford, has been taken over by another O’Brien. The brilliant Marog O’Brien of Farmgate Restaurant & Country Store in Midleton, Co Cork, will open a wine bar there in the New Year.
