The person My mam and dad, Anne-Marie and Paul — together, they are an incredible combination. I know I’m cheating, but they are as one to me. I couldn’t imagine my life without their love, support and sacrifice. The memory Working at the opening night party of the Giorgio Armani fashion retrospective at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City. It was like the Disneyland of celebrities — they just kept coming. The moment of the day Morning. A coffee to kick-start the day, boom! The song I Feel Love by Donna Summer. It’s a classic tune, sure to get me dancing. The movie True Romance. The book The Cows by Dawn O’Porter. It made me laugh out loud. The person Ellen Von Unwerth. She’s a fashion photographer and director. Her work has inspired me. I was thrilled when I met her recently at London Fashion Week. The outfit While I was working for Gucci, Tom Ford was the creative director. All my wages were spent on the collections, as I could not resist — including a classic LBD that is still my prized possession. The accessory A silver ring set with a ruby stone by the Irish designer Des Doyle. I got it as a gift when I graduated from art college. I wear it almost every day! The gadget My iPhone — it’s my extended limb. The pet hate People making assumptions. Not doing research or asking questions, and just assuming. The beauty product YSL Top Secrets Instant Moisture Glow — a miracle rescue remedy for the face. The friend My sisters Paula and Niamh are my BFFs. They always have my back. The piece of advice Don’t sweat the small stuff. The holiday Koh Lanta, Thailand. It’s a bohemian, untouched piece of paradise off the coast of Krabi. The hotel The dylan, Dublin. It’s tucked away in a cute neighbourhood, and has decadent interiors and delicious cocktails. The drink Gin, tonic and lime. The bar Grogan’s pub in Dublin. Art, toasties and the crack! The hobby Painting. The celebrity The late Isabella Blow. She was a fashion icon. She was also a mentor, muse and patron to milliner Philip Treacy and fashion designer Alexander Mc Queen. I loved the way she wore things and didn’t care what anyone thought of her. The smell A salty ocean breeze. The taste Chillies. The virtue Decency. The vice M&S Percy Pig jellies — the original pink ones!
