Study shows plants sharpen focus
We know that having plants at home and in the workplace helps us to breathe easier and purifies the air, but did you know they have also been shown to sharpen focus, too? This is according to a study at The Royal College of Agriculture in Circencester, England. The students there, who were taught in rooms containing plants, demonstrated a 70pc greater attentiveness in class. In the same study, attendance was also higher for lectures given in classrooms with plants. Maybe you could add a couple of plants to a struggling student’s study room as we hit exam season?
