Brian and Amy do like to be beside the seaside

-

An ocean breeze puts the mind at ease, I always say. Usually with a glass of white wine in one hand, a book in the other and a young child on each knee, looking out on the sea at Kelly’s in Rosslare. It’s like the South of France. But in Wexford sur mer. In July, Brian O’Driscoll and Amy Huberman were spotted soaking up the sun at Bill Kelly’s establishment in Rosslare. A little bird reliably informs me that the rugby divine being and his acclaimed author wife have bought a swish caravan spot in a site on the trendy Strand area, and will be now even more regular visitors to this exclusive part of Rosslare. Joy is unconfined! Another sporting divine being Des Cahill, wearing a bright multi-coloured tie, was at the Skoda Czech Fashion Show last Tuesday in Dublin City Hall. Retail ledge Eddie Shanahan produced the show. Broadcaster Muireann O’Connell (in a long red coat and splash of matching lipstick), and stylist Clémentine MacNeice attended, as did the Czech Ambassador to Ireland HE Petr Kynstetr and Skoda brand director, John Donegan.
