Bodies of two men found in blaze house
■ Two men were pronounced dead at the scene of a house fire in Dublin yesterday.
Gardai and fire services were alerted to the fire in the Slievebloom Park area of Drimnagh just before 2pm. The blaze was brought under control by firefighters and the bodies of the victims were found inside the cottage. The men were believed to be aged in their late 60s and early 70s.
The State Pathologist will perform post-mortem examinations today. Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 01-666 6600.
