Help for homeless from Bermuda group

■ Irish ex-pats in Bermuda have sent more than €10,000 to support a homeless charity in Dublin.

The Bermudan Irish Association raised the money for the Light House cafe which has seen demand for its hot meal parcels increase from 80 to more than 350 on most days. The service also delivers hot drinks and sandwiches to those in need.

The donation will fund “enough hot meal parcels for a week”. Some 300 Irish people live in Bermuda.
