Great writing that speaks volumes

■ I’ve always admired and praised your journalist Eilis O’Hanlon for many years.

Her forthright and honest style of reporting ensures that I seek out her piece every Sunday and last week’s excellent article ‘All Eyes On Mary Lou’ ranks as one of her very best.

I had no idea about her connection with the Troubles and her mother’s injuries.

Her assertion that she never “felt justified” to take up arms against those responsible for her family’s pain speaks volumes about the lady.
