Beauty that is written in sand

-

■ Sir — This is a poem I wrote about a beach I walked again after the 2km restriction was lifted. It’s the beautiful Boatstrand Beach at Carrickfinn west Donegal.

A thousand metres apart, Holding an invisible hand, Waves comfort deserted beach. With a heavy heart, Trespassing on silver sand, Everything out of reach.
