HOSPITALITY C&C serves up Local app to help hospitality sector sales

C&C, an Irish drink manufacturer listed on the FTSE 250 in London, has launched an application aimed at helping pubs, clubs and restaurants sell food and drink online.

The Local app launched in the Irish market last week, following its launch in the

UK. Around 6,000 consumers are using the app on a regular basis, 3,500 of whom have signed up in the last month.

Last week, C&C said it had 100 outlets signed up. It also said the app could allow customers to order and pay for items from their tables. C&C said it plans on signing some significant groups in the coming weeks.
