We’re going to miss our annual week in France for the September wine sales this year. So, with Bastille Day on Tuesday, we’re going to celebrate with French food and wine at home for the week. In Dublin, the Guinea

Pig in Dalkey does a great Provencal bouillabai­sse to take out, while in Limerick, The French Table — another favourite spot, which I always head to in time for lunch when I’m travelling south-west — does a brilliant takeaway dinner for two at €78, including charcuteri­e and cheese (pictured right), two mains, two sides, dessert and a bottle of wine.
