BBQ BEAUTIES

Barbecue lovers can now enjoy the thrill of the grill at Subway restaurants nationwide.

The sandwich giants launched three new subs as part of its Smokehouse Edition this week.

And there’s already a BB-queue for the spicy Chipotle Cheese Steak creation, stuffed with Philly Steak, lettuce, onion, peppers, jalapenos, and an extra-hot sauce, as well as peppered cheese.

Capturing the authentic smoky flavour of the American grill, there’s also a new twist on the iconic meatball sub, called the BBQ Baller, piled high with BBQ pork and beef meatballs, peppered cheese, lettuce, onions, and peppers, and a take on the classic Hunter’s Chicken.

Priced from €5.40, the three are available as a Footlong, 6” Sub, wrap or salad in-store, online and via delivery now.

And if all that doesn’t tickle your tongue enough, why not chuck in a side of the new Chipotle Cheese Bites (from €2.10) for the full Smokehouse experience.

Check out the full menu, including nutrition and allergen information, at subway.ie.

TERRIFIC TIPPLE

The Busker Irish Whiskey Single Cask Pot Still is sure to fly out — and not just because it’s exclusive to The

Loop at Cork and Dublin Airports.

Launched in partnership with Aer Rianta International, the limited edition whiskey marks the first in a series of exclusive bottlings for The Irish Whiskey Collection.

Hand-selected from the finest casks by the master blending team at Royal Oak Distillery in Carlow, the distinguished spirit has been aged for six years in a sherry cask to capture the bold essence of Ireland’s world-famous pot still style.

Imagine the leathery richness of dried fruit, bolstered by the depth of prune and fig notes, all followed by the balanced sweetness of honey and fudge, with a long spicy warm finish. Pick up a bottle for yourself for €71 or €57 duty-free.

Just 450 bottles have been released, so be quick to find out more at thebusker.com and follow @thebusker_official.
