‘Apprentice’ star inspiring example

As Bronagh McCoy headed to interview for the manager’s post at Dundalk’s new ‘Inglot’ store, she had one critical advantage.... her Apprentice star sister!

Bronagh’s sister Grainne made headlines across the country as she reached the final five in the UK reality show led by Alan Sugar.

Having just exited the series last week, Grainne has been praised for her leadership skills, something which Dundalk based beauty manager Bronagh reveals has always inspired her.

‘We as a family are so, so proud of Grainne for everything she achieved on the show.’

‘Every week we got together to watch the latest episode, and although it was really strange initially looking at her on show, I’m super proud of her, she did so well. She has always been an inspiration to me. When I went to the interview for the manager’s post for Inglot at the Marshes Shopping Centre, she drove me there, and coached me the whole way up the road, I was very lucky to have her on my side,’ Bronagh told the Argus.

Her Apprentice star sister’s feisty turn on the hit tv show saw her survive many famous boardroom battles until the second last episode on Thursday night last when she was ‘fired’. ‘I know it’s been an incredible experience for her, and she has learned so much.’

Bronagh added that she is thrilled to see Inglot celebrating their first Christmas in Dundalk; ‘ The store is doing really well, in fact we’re booked up two to three weeks in advance now. It’s going from strength to strength.’
