COFFEE- MORNING
Emmets footballers host a tea/ coffee/scones morning in the Community Centre this Sunday immediately after the blessing of graves. All welcome.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place each Friday from 6.30p.m.-7.30p.m. Please pray for Barney Farrell, Tankardsrock, Malachy Begley, Faughart, Matt Fee, Newtownbalregan, Jim Carron, Nottingham formerly Carnroe, Roddy Mooney, Blackrock, Gerry Conlon, Dowdallshill. Baptisms take place every second Sunday of the month at 10.00am mass. Confession will take place after 6.00p.m Mass on Saturdays and before Mass on First Fridays. A new Readers List is available for collection in the Sacristy. All Readers make sure to pick up their copy. If there are any readers who have not given their email addresses to Kathleen McCreesh and would like to do so please submit them. Please also remember to collect the Book in the Sacristy on the weekend before you are due to read and if you are unavailable to read on your assigned date please contact another reader and arrange a swop. Blessing of Graves takes place on Sunday, July 8, with mass in the cemetery at 10.00am. The people of Kilkerley wish Sacristan, Mickey Kelly a return to full health and look forward to seeing him back home and back in the Sacristan role. Good wishes also to all other parishioners that may be hospitalised or unwell at home

This Group meet in the Community Centre on Thursday of this week from 6.30pm.
EMMETS GFC
The last league game is away to O’Raghallaighs where a win would secure a return to senior league level. The Blues and Martins play in the senior championship this Sunday so Kilkerley play the winners on the following weekend. Kilkerley Emmets Dowdallshill ladies play at home to Newtown Blues in the senior championship at 11.00am this Sunday July 8, then away to St Kevins on Sunday July 22 at 11.00am and Round 3 is at home to Cooley at 11.00am on August 5. The U16 Girls plat at home this Wednesday evening at 7.30pm against Glen Emmets. Congratulations to Sinead Woods and the county ladies team on winning the Leinster Junior championship on Sunday last away to Carlow. Nursery sessions continue each Saturday in the pitch from 10.30am. The U11’s had a great win away to the Wolfe Tones. A great team performance with some superb scores, well done to all. Dancing in the Community Centre continues this Sunday night July 8, with music by White Lightening. Brian McDermott plays on July 15, Jimmy Hynes and the Crusaders on July 22. Dancing from 9.00pm to midnight.
COMMUNITY ALERT
The annual summer outing takes place on Thursday, July 26, and this year the trip is to Beleverde House in Mullingar. Cost is €25 per person. Bus

Every Diocese in Ireland has been asked to organise their own opening ceremony for WMOF. This will happen for us on Tuesday, August 21, in Armagh. An afternoon of music and sport in the city followed by a prayer service in St. Patrick Cathedral involving all the choirs in the Archdiocese. A bus will be provided.
