Louth punter wins €5000 from a €2 bet

-

A County Louth bingo player is better off to the tune of € 5,000 this weekend after an incredible run of numbers sent a mega windfall their way.

The punter, who wishes to remain anonymous, staked € 2 in a BoyleSports shop in the county on Thursday and was left hoping that their 6 bingo numbers were called out.

The numbers chosen were 1, 5, 6, 18, 41 and 44, with BoyleSports offering a jackpot of € 100,000 if the selected numbers are the first 6 drawn.

The Louth native was certainly in luck when their 6 numbers had all been called and their € 2 accumulator resulted in an amazing € 5,000 profit.

Leon Blanche, Head of Communications for BoyleSports said: ‘All of us at BoyleSports would like to congratulate our lucky County Louth punter on their fantastic win of € 5,000 on their selections for one of our Bingo draws, and it really does show how you can win large by betting small.’
