Attack on off duty garda’s car

DUNDALK gardai are investigating an attack on a car which is reported to belong to an off duty garda.

The incident of ‘criminal damage by fire to a car at a house in the Red Barns Road area of Dundalk’ was reported to have occurred on Monday morning, at approximately 3:30am.

A spokesman for the garda press office con- firmed that ‘no injuries were sustained in this incident. Investigations are ongoing.’

Meanwhile, gardai are also investigating a reported break in at a house off the Avenue Road last week.

The incident was said to have taken place on November 12th, and reported to gardai a number of days later.
