Old Dundalk Society lecture

THE Old Dundalk Society is delighted to announce that the first of its winter series of lectures will take place in the Louth County Museum on Wednesday November at 8p.m. The lecture will focus on the work of the County Louth Archives Service, and will give an overview of the collection­s e held there. The County Archives was establishe­d in 2000 and is the repository for the public and private archives of County Louth. To date the County Archives has acquired numerous significan­t collection­s that contain a wealth of informatio­n about County Louth’s places, people and events. The lecture will be delivered by Lorraine McCann, County Archivist.

There is limited capacity at the venue. Voluntary contributi­ons at door.
