BURGLEDHIS SISTER’SHOME
A 35-year-old man who carried out a burglary at his sister’s house, has been sentenced to 220 hours community service instead of a five-month jail term.
Kevin O’Hare, 21 Fatima Park had previously admitted the offence which occurred at 16 Fatima Drive, on 3 April, 2017, and the matter was put back for probation and community service reports.
Barrister Ronan O’Carroll said his client has paid €150 compensation. The only reason his sister reported the incident was to provoke O’Hare to deal with a chronic heroin addiction.
This he has done and he is engaging with the probation service and HSE.
