ADMITTTED DANGEROUS DRIVING

A 41-year-old motorist who overtook a line of traffic which included an unmarked garda car has been fined €50 and disqualified from driving for two years after pleading guilty to dangerous driving.

Kaspars Salmins, 33 College Manor, Hoey’s Lane, a native of Latvia, admitted the offence which occurred on 29 October, 2017.

A second charge of driving while under the influence of an intoxicant was struck out.
