THE best of luck to our new senior team manager, Paul Morgan, whose appointment was announced at last week’s committee meeting. A committee was set up to find a successor to Malachy O’Rourke, who’s three-year term came to an end in September, and in naming Paul the the committee made a very popular choice.

Paul worked alongside Lenny Harbinson during his two-year term, and in more recent times has been involved with the junmiors. His back-up team has yet to be finalised.

Malachy O’Rourke was thanked for his contribution. During his term we reached the championship final for the first time in 25 years, won the intermediate league and reached the semi-finals of the Cardinal O’Donnell Cup. The Armagh native assistants were Niall Lambert, Pat McCann and Noel Sweeney.
