The increasing traffic and the inherent dangers that go with it, warrants extra care and caution on the roads.

The volume is here to be seen every day in the village, and the network was scarcely built to accommodat­e the number of cars and rising commercial vehicles moving in and out of main street, especially with all bigger and more powerful.

The sea route is the main artery through the village, with link roads taking the traffic in off the old Dublin Road.

They are all very busy and narrow and quite windy, and not suitable for speed, rather for motorists to observe the limits which isn’t always the case.
