Sleep-Out for Simon Community

On Friday November 30 there will be an ‘8 till 8 Sleep-Out’ at the Bush Picnic Area for the Simon Community in Dundalk

Some speakers from the Dundalk Simon Community will be in attendance on the night to give an insight of the services they provide and the work they do. At 12 midnight a short prayer service will take place for the homeless and for those who lost their lives through homelessness. A lantern will be released into the cold November night sky in their memory.

Sponsorship cards are in circulation at the moment so please donate what you can. If you would like to obtain a sponsorship card and raise funds for this event please contact the Parochial House on 042- 9376105.

Everyone is welcome to attend the sleep-out on the night. If you wish you can pitch a tent on the green but please wrap up as it’s going to be cold. Toilet facilities and warm drinks will be available on the night but please remember this is an outdoor event with no shelter.
