Jim Corr for charity concert

THERE’S a stellar line-up of local talent for the Fairytale of Dundalk concert in aid of the North Louth Hospice on Friday December 21 in An Táin Arts Centre.

IT will include an appearance by Jim Corr of the most famous band ever to come out of Dundalk, who will be heading the ‘Dundalk Collective’ with Tubby Corrway, Melissa Hayes, Seán McGeeney Mark Connolly, Ian Harold and more.

The line-up also features Bagatelle, Zoe Conway and John McIntyre, Cuchulainn Celtic Strings, Oriel Youth Ensemble, Scoil Rince Ui Chonghaile, Sunshine Souls Samba, and the Malone Dance Academy.

This promises to be a great festive concert with a mulled wine reception at 7pm.

There will be raffles throughout the evening, with lots of great prizes including a signed Dundalk jersey, tickets to Aslan, Delcan O’Rourke and Paddy Casey concerts, and luxury Christmas hampers.

All funds raised will go towards the North Louth Hospice and Homecare Foundation to help with the valuable work they do in supporting those affected by cancer and their families in the Dundalk and north Louth area. This includes the volunteer driver service taking cancer patients to and from hospital for treatment as well as supporting families caring for loved ones with cancer.
