Jim Corr for char­ity con­cert

THERE’S a stel­lar line-up of lo­cal tal­ent for the Fairy­tale of Dundalk con­cert in aid of the North Louth Hospice on Fri­day De­cem­ber 21 in An Táin Arts Cen­tre.

IT will in­clude an ap­pear­ance by Jim Corr of the most fa­mous band ever to come out of Dundalk, who will be head­ing the ‘Dundalk Col­lec­tive’ with Tubby Cor­rway, Melissa Hayes, Seán McGeeney Mark Con­nolly, Ian Harold and more.

The line-up also fea­tures Ba­gatelle, Zoe Con­way and John McIn­tyre, Cuchu­lainn Celtic Strings, Oriel Youth En­sem­ble, Scoil Rince Ui Chong­haile, Sun­shine Souls Samba, and the Malone Dance Academy.

This prom­ises to be a great fes­tive con­cert with a mulled wine re­cep­tion at 7pm.

There will be raf­fles through­out the evening, with lots of great prizes in­clud­ing a signed Dundalk jer­sey, tick­ets to As­lan, Del­can O’Rourke and Paddy Casey con­certs, and lux­ury Christ­mas ham­pers.

All funds raised will go to­wards the North Louth Hospice and Home­care Foun­da­tion to help with the valu­able work they do in sup­port­ing those af­fected by can­cer and their fam­i­lies in the Dundalk and north Louth area. This in­cludes the vol­un­teer driver ser­vice tak­ing can­cer pa­tients to and from hos­pi­tal for treat­ment as well as sup­port­ing fam­i­lies car­ing for loved ones with can­cer.
