Darren’s calendars go global

-

Local amateur photographer Darren Rafferty, who has built up a big following of admirers of his work from around the world, has launched another series of calendars for 2019.

The Dundalk Calendar, which now in its 4th year, has proven very popular with copies being shipped all over the world to Dundalk ex-Pats. This year, Darren decided to combine Dundalk sayings with the images, and after a call out on social media, has picked twelve sayings to accompany some fabulous photos of St. Patrick’s Church, Ice House Hill, Proleek Dolmen, Clarke Station, and Roche Castle.

The Navvybank Calendar, now in its 6th year, includes some pictures from local photographer Jean Gilson. Darren also enlisted the help of his dad Pat Rafferty for the Blackrock Calendar. The calendars can be ordered on his website www. darranrafferty.com and are on sale in Mc Evoys, Londis in the Quay, River Roe Bookshop, Costcutter, Centra Bay Estate, Grants, Coffee Time, The Home Bakery, McCreesh Avenue Stores, Supervalu, Mace Blackrock and Flanagans.
