Connor Lynch (26), 57 Willow Grove, Carrick Road, has had three public order charges struck out after paying €300 to charity.

He admitted being intoxicated in a public place, engaging in threatening, abusive and insulting behaviour and failing to comply with the direction of a garda in Park Street on 19 March last.

Solicitor Frank McDonnell said his client has no previous convictions. On this occasion he got involved in something which was none of his business.

Legal aid was granted.
