JURISDICTION REFUSED
The district court has refused jurisdiction in the case of a man accused of having drugs worth more than €2,300.
Michael Kerr (46), 41 Garrybawn, Tom Bellew Avenue, is charged with two counts of possession of drugs for sale or supply and two counts of unlawful possession of drugs at 41 Garrybawn on 15 April, 2017.
It is alleged he had diamorphine worth €2,333 and cannabis valued €42.
Judge Coughlan refused jurisdiction and adjourned the matter to 20 February for a book of evidence.
Kerr was granted legal aid.
