Cyclist Eve McCrystal wins Garda Sportstar Award for fifth time

EVE McCrysal, who had another fantastic year, has been honoured once again in the Annual Coiste Siamsa Garda Sportstar Awards. The Jenkinstown native, who is stationed in Ballybay, was the winner of two gold medals in the Para-cycling World championships (Road race & Time Trial). Bronze medal winner in the 3km World Track Cycling Championship in Rio. She also became the first Garda Cycling Club member to win the National Road Race title, and took 3rd place in the National Time Trial. This is her 5th Coiste Siamsa award.
