State of Art pitch in New Year

A major decision taken this year was to redevelop the main playing field at McGeough Park due to constant problems with waterlogging and soil compaction.

Come the New Year the club will have a fabulous new state of art playing field, complete with a new score board and set of goalposts, the secretary, told the members.

She said ‘we were extremely fortunate to have living in our parish Stewart Wilson Grounds Supervisor at back pitch was available for all the extra activity as well as minding the main pitch and ensuring it was watered and cut as per instruction of Stewart.
