Daniel Barry, formerly of Chapel Pass, Blackrock, Dundalk and The Commons, Freemount, Co. Cork, whose death occurred on 1 December, 2018, peacefully, in the wonderful and kind care in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, and after being wonderfull­y cared for by the staff of Blackrock Abbey, Nursing Home. Daniel, beloved husband of Patricia, dear father of Conor and Dara and brother of John, Pat, Noreen and the late Denis. Deeply regretted by his wife, son, daughter, grandchild­ren Ciara and Caitlin, daughterin-law Adèle, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at McGeough’s Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street, from 3pm until 7pm on Tuesday. Cremation Service on Wednesday at 2pm in Glasnevin Crematoriu­m.

Phyllis Devlin (née Gray), St. Jude’s, Linenhall Street and formerly of Barrack Street, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 2 December, 2018, suddenly but peacefully at her residence. Predecease­d by her husband Francie, brothers Tom and Gerry, and sister Mary McCartney. Very deeply regretted by her loving daughters Anne McCormack and Catherine (Kate) Devlin-McGirr, sister Jo, brother Pat, sons-in-law Vincent and Kevin, grand-daughter Clare, grandson Joseph, niece Marie, nephews Peter and Patrick, extended family, relatives, wonderful friends and neighbours. Maura McEneaney (née Whelan), Ard Easmuinn, Dundalk and formerly of Killimor, Co Galway, whose death occurred peacefully in Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross on 1 December, 2018. Maura, beloved wife of the late James and dear mother of Noel, Paul, Valerie, Shane and Fiona and nana of Ellie, Abbie, Ciara, Orla, Áine, Jack, Anna, James and Emily and sister of Patsy, Connie, Declan, Iomar, and Siobhan. Deeply regretted by her sons, daughters, grandchild­ren, sons in law David Roche and Lawrence Croydon, daughters in law Eva, Justine and Tara, brothers, sister, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Vincent Reilly, ‘Ardmore’ Avenue Rd, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 2 December, 2018. Vincent, much loved husband of Margaret, dear father of Ken, Janice, Fintan, Karen and grandad to Finn, Harry, Neasa, Killian, Cathal, Ciara, Aibhe, Glen, Peter, Cliodhna and Kevin and brother of Dermot, Tessie, Shelia and Brendan and late Kevin and Hilda. Sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, grandchild­ren, brothers, sisters, sons in law Bill and Paul daughters in law Maeve and Aisling, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Michael McCabe (L.C.C.C), Saint Alphonsus Road, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 30 November, 2018. Michael beloved husband of Geraldine (née Mc Key) and loving dad of David and Mary. Robbie McGee, Hyde Park, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 30 November, 2018. Predecease­d by his parents Thomas and Peggy, brothers Vincent and Thomas. He will be very sadly missed by his brother Richard, sisters Geraldine, (twin sister) Rita and Bernadette, brother and sisters in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends. Owen (Owenie) McGuinness, 31 Fatima Drive, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully, on 30 November, 2018, in the tender and dedicated care of the staff of Louth County Hospital, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of the late Gerry (nee McAleer) and dear father of Leontia, Mervin, Rosaleen and Majella. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing daughters, son, grandchild­ren Kelly, Ryan, Shannon, Jordan, Cody and Jamie, daughter-in-law Maria, sons-in-law Michael and Kieran, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Mary Mulligan (née Byrne), Seatown, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital surrounded by her family, on 29 November, 2018. Mary, beloved wife of the late Patsy, dear mother of Yvonne, Pádraig, and the late Anita, mother-in-law of Paul and Sandra, sister of Kathleen, Patricia, and special friend of Vincent. Vera Matthews Sr. (née Keenan), Castletown­cooley, Riverstown, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully, at home, on 27 November. Predecease­d by her husband Bernard, son Pete, twin brother Peter and brother Owenie and sisters Alice and Molly. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing daughters Vera and Margaret, son Brian, son-in-law Martin Malone, grandchild­ren Colin, Neil, Darren, Joanne, Brian, Karen and Brian, great-grandchild­ren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Mary O’Grady (née McGee), London, England and formerly of Aghameen Park, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 26 November, peacefully in London. Mary will be very sadly missed by her loving husband Tim, her beloved son Joshua, her heart broken mum and dad Patricia and Gerry, brothers Sean and Gavin, sisters in law Alice, Jenny, Jo, Ellie and Georgie, mother and father-in-law Sue and Jim, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family, relatives, wonderful friends both in London and her home town of Dundalk. Mary’s Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, 8 December, at 12 noon in Our Lady, Help of Christians Church, Mottingham followed by burial in Kemnal Park Cemetery, London. Memorial Mass will be held on Sunday, 6 January, 2019, at 11am in the Church of The Holy Family, Muirhevnam­or, Dundalk.

Peader Hamill, Forkhill Road, Lisdoo, Dundalk, whose death occurred peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, on 26 November, 2018. Peader, beloved husband of the late Eileen (née Smyth) and dear father of Fiona and Lorraine, grandad of Éabha, and Ryan, brother of the late Pat. Deeply regretted by his daughters, grandchild­ren, son-in-law Kenneth McEneaney, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends. Brian McKevitt (Comdt. Retd.), The Old Schoolhous­e, Dundalk Street, Carlingfor­d, whose death occurred peacefully on 26 November and with his family at The Mater Private Hospital. Very deeply regretted by his beloved wife Denise, sons Páraic, Domhnall and Brian, daughter Áine, daughters in law Nathaile, Audrey and Sheila, grandchild­ren Liam, Donnacha, Sunniva, Conor, Ronan and Joe, brother Terry and his wife Kay, brothers-in-law Dan and Jim, sisters-in-law Nora and Mary, nephews, neices relatives, army comrades, and his many friends.
