ASHDALE PARK GIRL ENJOYS PARTY AT RUGBY CLUB

-

ONE 21st birthday party I certainly wasn’t going to miss last weekend was that of Dara Goss from Ashdale Park who was celebrating in the Rugby Club and there to make sure she had a lovely time were parents Gertrude and Stephen Goss, grandparents Ann and Packie Goss from Bellurgan, uncles Gerry and Bernard Goss from Cooley and Padraig Goss from Mullingar and a huge collection of family and friends.

I was only in the door when I met Dara’s mum who told me Dara is currently in her third year Maynooth studying law and loving it and were all looking forward to a great night.

I then headed in for a chat with cousins Derek Sheelan from Dromiskin, Gary and Doireann Sheelan from Blackrock who were definitely up for making it a real night to remember.

Not too far away I then got talking to Michelle and Shane O’Reilly and Margaret McCabe all from Blackrock who are family friends and wanted to wish Dara a very happy birthday.

Meanwhile up near the bar I met up with Donal Clarke from Banbridge who was having a laugh with Liam McCartney from Ardee Terrace who are friends of Dara’s and were definitely up for making it a fantastic night.

Next, I headed over for a word with the Kildare cousins and they included Amy, Roisin, Aine, Kevin and Anne Byrne who were up specially for Dara’s 21st and were ready to party!

Making my way over to another table I caught up with Aine Gibney from Cavan, Paula McConville from Lios Dubh and Chloe McLoughlin the ‘ Time Traveller’ from The Quay who told me they all work with Dara’s dad in Ballymascanlon Hotel and were delighted to be here.

I then headed over towards a group of Dara’s besties who became friends and have been since their days in St. Vincents and they included Megan O’Reilly from Riverside Drive, Niamh Lennon from Kilcurry, Caoimhe Mulry from Dublin Road,

Sarah Callan from Point Road Amy Byrne from Cooley Anna O’Hare from Kilcurry, Neasa Cumiskey from Demesne Road, Emma McShane and Victoria Prendergast from Tudor Grove who were all looking stunning and were going to make sure their bestie was going to have the time of her life.

They were joined by Ciaran Rafferty from Tyrone who shares a house with Dara in Maynooth and told me it was a totally insane night!

Heading for another table I then got talking to Emma Teather from Point Road, Lauren Culligan from Priorland Road who are also mates from St. Vincents days and assured me it was going to be a wild and crazy night.

Finally, before I departed I caught up with a bunch of lads who included Andrew Kelly, Cian Simpson, Adam Finn, Christopher Duffin, Gavin Curtis Michal Piprek, Darren Maguire and Luke Deegan all from Tallaght who had just arrived in and became friends with Dara when they all met up in Knockadoon four years ago when they were all youth leaders, the lads with the Tallaght youth club and Dara with the Friary Youth club and the lads couldn’t wait for the fun to get going!
