PUBLIC ORDER INCIDENT AT STADIUM
A 25-year-old man who admitted two public order charges arising out of an incident at Dundalk Stadium has had them struck out.
That order was made after Kenneth Kilkenny, Lisross, Rossinver, Co. Leitrim paid € 300 to charity.
He pleaded guilty to being intoxicated in a public place and engaging in threatening, abusive and insulting behaviour at the horse and greyhound racing track on 15 December last.
Sgt Fintan McGroder said Kilkenny has a previous conviction for assault causing harm for which he received a suspended sentence on paying compensation.
