CONGRATULA­TIONS

We send our congratula­tions and very best wishes to popular couple Donal Gernon and Rachel Riordan whose marriage took place in The Church of Immaculate Conception Louth on Monday 24th December (New Years Eve). The celebrant was Fr. Sean McArdle P.P. Louth. The Matron Of Honour was Laura Riordan and the bridesmaid was Naomi Killen. The best man was Daren Gernon whilst the duties of groomsman were performed by Stephan Sheilds. Shay McGlynn and Lucas Shields acted as Pageboys.

The reception took place in the Crowne Plaza Hotel and all who attended really enjoyed themselves. Donal is the son of Stephen and Josephine Gernon, Tullycahon whilst Rachel who is from Dundalk is the daughter of Finbar and Ann Riordan from Dundalk.

The honeymoon will be in Orlando. We wish the happy couple many years of happiness and good health.

VINTAGE CLUB AGM

The Louth Abbey Vintage Club had an other very successful year and they will review their past year when they hold their A.G.M this coming Friday evening 11th January in the refurbishe­d Community Hub.

The club would welcome all especially new members to the meeting. The club hold various events during the year and most of these involve the whole community and we wish them well for the coming year. The meeting commences at 8pm sharp.

FESTIVE PARTY

Last Sunday the Annual Parish Christmas Party took place and again there was a good turnout and all who attended rely enjoyed themselves and would like to thank the organisers for a most enjoyable party.
