Glen United’s annual Christmas Table Quiz took place in Martins of Riverstown on Saturday night last.

The event attracted a good crowd to the venue and it provided a very exciting finish with two teams tying for the top spot resulting in a tie-breaker round. The eventual winners were Margaret Sheelan, Peadar Sheelan, Colette Sheelan and Stephen Glynn. Runners-up were Kevin Breen’s team consisting of Kevin and Pamela Breen, L. Burns and Adrian McCoy.

The Glen club would like to thank Tony and Aileen Loughran, quiz master and counter, anyone who helped out in any way, and especially the owners and staff of Martins of Riverstown whose help greatly added to the success of the night.
