Information evening being held on Greenway extension
An information evening is set to be held on the next stage of the Carlingford Lough Greenway which is set for an extension to the border.
The new section of the greenway will consist of three parts: Carlingford Village to the Marina 1.3km - Omeath to the Border 3.6km - and the Border to Victoria Lock witha distance of 1.7km.
Work is due to commence on the new sections in the first quarter of 2020 and should be completed within twelve months.
North Louth Councillor Antoin Watters welcomed the news, and also encouraged everyone to attend an information evening which is being held on Sunday next, February 17th at Carlingford Library.
There will be a presentation at 6p.m, but anyone drop into the library from 2pm and members of the team will be there to discuss the project and answer any questions.
