Information on applying for Creative Ireland funding
AN information session about the Louth Creative Ireland Community Grant Fund is being held in Creative Spark, Clontygora Drive, Muirhevnamor, on Friday from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
Sarah Daly (Creative Spark), Paul Hayes (An Tain Arts Centre) and Collette Farrell (Droichead Arts Centre), will brief attendees about the fund which will provide support to local and community event organisers in the research, planning and delivery of creative projects that have the capacity to develop into the future.
There are two types of grant assistance available: up to €500 for projects in development for 2020 and between €3,000 to €5,000 which is available for projects that can be completed and delivered by December 21 2019.
The workshop will also explore how communities might work with local artists and creative practitioners in the development and delivery of their chosen projects.
Projects which fall under the headings of enabling the creative potential of every child and enabling creativity in every community will be considered. Deadline for receipt of applications March 1.
