PAID FOR MOBILE PHONE

Stefan Bass (30) has received the benefit of the probation act after paying the balance of compensation for a mobile phone he stole.

The defendant, with an address in Glenwood but now homeless, according to his solicitor, paid €240 last week.

He previously admitted stealing an iPhone 6, valued €540, at McDonald’s, Stapleton Drive on 11 November, 2017.
