REFUSEDTO PROVIDE A SAMPLE

Darren Shevlin (30), a bricklayer, of 6 Cloonanna, Knockbridge, has been disqualified from driving for four years and fined €100 after he refused to provide a sample following his arrest on suspicion of drink driving.

He also received a concurrent two-year disqualification for having no insurance on the same occasion, 13 May, 2017, at Station Road, Castlebellingham.

Solicitor Peter Lavery said his client has two children and one on the way. He is no longer drinking.

‘I’m glad you’re off the drink,’ Judge Coughlan said to him.
