Information Meeting on Green way Development

The Carlingford Lough Greenway is to be extended and Louth County Council is to hold an information evening on this coming Tuesday, February 19, at the Station House, Carlingford, as part of a public consultation on the development of the project.

The event takes place from 12 noon to 8pm and members of the project team will present to speak about the route and future plans. They will deliver a presentation at 6pm.

The new development of the Greenway will consist of 3 parts; Carlingford Village to the Marina, a distance of 1.3km; Omeath to the Border, 3.6km; the Border to Victoria Lock 1.7km. Work is expected to commence early in 2020 and be completed by the end of the year.
