BALLYMASCANLON HOTEL HOST GLITTERING EVENT

-

ON Friday night I headed for the Ballymascanlon Hotel where the Oriel Farney Harriers were holding their Hunt Ball and a huge crowd had gathered specially for the occasion.

I wasn’t too long in when I caught up with Cathal McCann from Lislea and hunter Leona Dougan from Killowen who were looking well and ready to make the best of the night.

After this I got talking to three ladies who were looking exceptionally well and they were Samantha O’Hanlon from Galway, Irra Rogers from Ravensdale and Susan O’Connell from Inniskeen who all hunt and were in form for a major night of fun.

Not too long later I caught up with Austin Crawford from Ballymartin and Courtney O’Callaghan from Rostrevor who follows the hunts and said they certainly weren’t there to be sitting quietly in the corner.

Next, I met up with Kenny Brown from Rathfriland who was having a laugh with Caoimhe, Aedamar and Tommy McGrane from Cooley who told me that Tommy and Caoimhe are the hunters and this was their first time at the ball where they actually arrived early for a change.

After this I caught up with the best hunter there Melissa Martin from Newry who was with the best session lady Katie-Anne Boylan from Rathfriland who assured me it was going to be an epic night.

Just arrived in the door I met Joanne Reilly from Dromiskin who was there on the night with Anthony Murphy from Belleeks who told me they were really looking forward to a mad one with all their friends.

Looking as stunning as ever was my old friend Yvonne Mullen from Mountpleasant who was with Peter Rafferty from Mullabawn and she assured me it was going to be a more than lively evening.

Making my way through the crowds I then caught up with Honorary Master Michael Bishop from Kilcurry who was with his wife Lucy along with Bernard and Claire Quinn from Cooley and the reason I was there on the night Matt Harvey from Park Avenue who was with his delightful wife Rachel who were all looking extremely well and ready for a good night together.

After this I headed over for a chat with Joe and Tania Kehoe from Newry who said they were very expectant of an excellent night with all their friends.

After this I got a swift word with Dale Lockhart from Newry who was in the company of Linda, Paul and Vicky Nulty from Dromiskin and Grace Kearns from Castlebellingham who told me the Hunt Ball is always a fantastic night.

Finally, before I departed, I caught up with Eileen McDade from Burren and Olivia Hannity from Rostrevor who were looking great and ready for a major party.
