Inspiring visitor meets Dundalk Unslim members
Wexford woman Bernie Finn who lost 9 stone was an inspirational visitor when she popped into Dundalk Unislim recently.
The Mum of two shared her story of how she decided that she needed to do something for her health after she topped the scales at 18 stone 12lbs. She joined her local Unislim and within 14 months had reached her target of eight and a half stone.
Dundalk Unislim leader Mary McArdle was delighted to welcome Bernie to the group. Mary has been helping local people loose weight with Unislim for 47 years. She leads the group which meets in the Community Room at the Long Walk Shopping Centre every Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm and Thursday from 8am to 10.30am for weight and go and from 10.30am to 11.30am for class and talk.
