Caused up set and annoyance
Liam Tuite (61), 71 Marian Park, has been fined €250 for engaging in threatening, abusive and insulting behaviour.
He pleaded guilty to the offence which occurred in Marian Park on 9 June, 2019.
The court heard gardaí were called to a house at 11.50pm where the defendant was causing upset and annoyance.
He was ‘highly-intoxicated’ and agreed to leave. Outside the house he started making gestures and issuing threats. Members of the public were present.
There are 11 previous convictions. Solicitor Frank McDonnell added his client developed a dependency on drink as he got older which is doing his health no good at all.
