Had diamorphine
A 43-year-old man found with ‘a small bag’ of diamorphine (heroin) has been fined €150.
Michael Kavanagh, 8 Drive 2, Muirhevnamór, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of drugs at Sliabh Foy Park, Muirjevnamór, on 25 July, 2018.
He has 49 previous convictions. Barrister Michael Miley said the previous convictions go back quite a long way.
His client suffered from a drug addiction but had been doing well until unfortunately having a relapse.
