Booth exhibition

Work by two local artists, Petra Berntsson and Breda Marron, is included in a new exhibition commemorating Eva Gore Booth. The exhibition, which was organised and curated by Sligo’s Hamilton Galleryvvin conjunction with Lá Fhéile Bríde, sees 93 women artists respond to the life and work of Eva Gore Booth, a poet, playwright, suffragist, social revolutionary, pacifist and lesser-known sister of Constance Markievicz. The exhibition, which is on display in the Museum of Literature Ireland, was opened by First Lady Sabrina Higgins.
