Great day for Garda superfan!

IT was a very special birthday for one young north Louth resident, who got to meet some of his ‘ heroes’ recently.

Members of Dundalk gardai were on patrol in the Faughart area last week, when they met their ‘superfan’ Ed Keegan.

Garda Lindsay, Garda Masterson and Sgt McGovern took some time out to visit at a social distance with a very excited Ed, on his 6th birthday with some presents and a card.

Posting to the Louth Gardai Facebook page, they added: ‘Happy Birthday Ed! You look great in your Garda Uniform.’
