Sadness and Shock at Patrick’s death

-

Words can’t describe the deep sense of sadness and shock that our Club, Cooley Kickhams, and the Cooley community feel at the sad passing of one of our own true Gaels, Patrick Carron.

Patrick was always at the centre of all that was important in our Club both in good and bad times. The man never had the words NO or I CAN’T in his locker and was always a willing helper at all our functions and activities. His friendly welcome, witty comments and funny sayings will be sadly missed in our Club. Our Clubs deepest sympathy goes out to his wife Caroline and the rest of the family at this sad time. At dheis De go raibh a anam.

Patrick’s Funeral Mass was streamed live from the Church of Our Lady, Star of the Sea, Boher, at 11.00am on Sunday morning last. It was celebrated for the family only in keeping with the current restrictions. The Cooley Parish community expresses its heartfelt sympathy to Patrick’s wife Caroline, his sons, Michael, Patrick Thomas, and Christopher, his daughter, Colleen, brother Keith and sisters, Mary, Caroline, Stephanie and Olivia and assure them of our prayers at this difficult time. May he rest in peace.
