Storm Ellen fails to stop teens’ charity Kerry hike
Even Storm Ellen, which lashed the country last Wednesday and Thursday, couldn’t stop two seventeen year old friends from completing the Kerry Way to raise funds for the Laura Lynn Foundation.
James Reenan, Knockbridge and Oisin Morin, who lives in Ballincolig, Co Cork, have been the best of friends since they entered junior infants in the CBS primary school.
They share a love of hiking and having walked The Wicklow Way last summer, decided to tackle the 214km Kerry Way, Ireland’s longest signed trail this year.
