Super Saints see off Fechin’s

-

St Mary’s continued their good run of form as they made it three wins from four outings with a comfortable victory away to St Fechin’s.

The first half was a well contested affair but the Ardee side made the most of their scoring chances and went in at the half way mark with a 0-9 to 1-3 lead.

The Fechin#s goal came in the first five minutes and was finished off by John Woods, while points came from Joe Corrigan, Niall

Devlin and Evan McCluskey.

St Mary’s came out all guns blazing in the second half, adding two to their tally before the home side stayed in touch with three points in a row from Brian Devlin, Joe Corrigan and James McGlew all in the first six minutes of play.

However, any hope the Fechin’s had of putting pressure on the visitors were dashed when the Marys found the net through Conor Gillespie, Adam Gillespie and Andy Murphy.
