Newspapers played a key role in shaping and reflecting public opinion in the Rebel County during the Irish Revolution. This book isn’t just concerned with the journalistic output of the period and their diverse political outlooks, but also their staff, engaging with newsboys and editors alike. These publications operated during an incredibly violent time but their employees did not sit on the sidelines, being centrally involved and experiencing very real danger. These papers also experienced censorship and suppression.
